Based and resident private/flying club aircraft located east of the terminal in Hangar 1 (Historic), & 3 (Modern), although they sometimes move. Hangar 2 was demolished mid-June 2017 to make way for some additional car parking.

Have 2 AW189 Helicopters, G-MCGM [89001] arrived 01/04/19 for training ahead of transition to replacing the S-92A and G-MCGN [92001] arrived 29/04/19 based operating on behalf of the Marine and Coastguard Agency. The AW189 took over 01/05/19 and operate from a custom-built hangar west of the control tower.
G-MCGM AW189 [89001] on station until 14/08/19 and back 18/11/19 until 18/05/20. Based from 08/07/20 until 16/06/21. Returned 03/09/21 on station until 09/05/22.
G-MCGN AW189 [92001] on station until 27/11/19. Night stop 27/02/20 and returned 18/03/20 until 09/07/20. Back again 02/03/21 until 03/11/21.
G-MCGP AW189 [92003] on station from 20/09/19. Away 18/03/20 returned 18/05/20. Departed 02/03/21. Back 02/11/21 until 01/04/22. Returned 08/05/22.
G-MCGR AW189 [92004] covered from 06/07/19 to 09/07/19.
G-MCGS AW189 [92005] covered from 06/08/19 to 08/08/19. Back 19/06/21 until 22/08/21. Returned 31/03/22.
G-MCGX AW189 [92010] covered from 15/08/19 to 20/09/19.
Rather than record the history I’ll just now note sightings. G-MCGP was noted in 18 Mar 2024.

BRITISH AIRWAYS [SHT "SHUTTLE"]
Operate Airbus A319 /A320 aircraft from Heathrow.

DIRECT FLIGHT [WDG "WATCHDOG"] [DCT "AIRTASK"]
Have two Reims/Cessna F406 Caravan II aircraft, G-SMMA [F406-0094] “WDG64” and G-SMMB [F406-0095] “WDG65” (3) based to operate for the Scottish Environment Ministry on Fisheries protection flights. Both carry marine scotland titles. Occasionally visiting are Reims/Cessna F406 Caravan II, G-MAFA [F406-0036] “WDG71” & G-MAFB [F406-0080] “WDG72” operating on behalf of Qinetic on danger area protection.
G-SMMA went to Reims 20/03/20 and returned 06/12/20. G-SMMB away 02/05/22 for major upgrade at Chalons Vatry and returned 20/01/23.

EASYJET [EZY "EASY"]
Operate Airbus A319/A320 aircraft from Bristol, Gatwick and Luton. Rare visits from A321. A Gatwick service night stops.

KLM [KLM “KLM”]
Operate schedules from Amsterdam with an Embraer E175/E190 aircraft. Occasional visit by new model E295.

LOGANAIR [LOG “LOGAN"]
Operates scheduled flights to Benbecula, Kirkwall, Stornoway and Sumburgh using an ATR-42 aircraft. An Embraer EMB-135/145 operates on the Belfast, Birmingham, Dublin and Manchester services. An ATR and E135/145 both night stop. 6 ATR-42-500 have replaced the SF340B. Loganair operate overnight mail flights from Inverness to East Midlands and Edinburgh. Daytime mail flights operate to Stornoway, Benbecula, Kirkwall and three ATR-72 are usually based at Inverness. G-LMRZ AT72-212A [570] joined the fleet arriving 11/11/19. G-LMRY AT72-212A [855] joined the fleet 26/05/22 still all white. G-LMRX AT72-212A joined the fleet 28/06/22 and fully painted. G-LMRV AT72-212A joined fleet with first revenue earning flight Aberdeen-Sumburgh 6/10/22.

SCOTTISH AMBULANCE SERVICE
(Operated by Gama Aviation (UK) Ltd)
Contract with Gama from 01/06/20 and base an Airbus MBB BK117 D-2 (Airbus H145) at Inverness call-sign "HLE (HELIMED) 02".
Currently operates from a new custom-built hangar east of the control tower.
G-ISAS [20299]. First visited 24/03/20 and based from 31/05/20. Similar G-GSAS [20290] now rotates also as does ‘spare’ G-GMAH [20289]. 18/03/24 G-GMAH on station.
Have two Beech B200C King Airs G-SASC and G-SASD which visit frequently on patient transfer flights along with Beech B200 G-GMAE. G-GMAF Beech B200 Super King Air joined the fleet at Bournemouth serving the Channel Islands with occasional visits North.
They all use call-sign "GMA (GAMA) ***"
Former based Babcock Mission Critical Services Onshore Ltd aircraft G-SASN Airbus MBB BK117 D-2 (Airbus H145) [20025] departed 01/06/20 initially to Aberdeen. The hangar vacated is no longer used.

PLM DOLLAR GROUP [PDG "OSPREY"]
Although not based at the airport, they are regular visitors from their base "across the fence" in the Dalcross Industrial Estate and may be seen coming and going from there. Other main bases are at Cumbernauld and Halfpenny Green, Wolverhampton.
They use fixed call-signs, as below:

XW375/52/9149M BAC 145 Jet Provost T5A [EEP/JP/1025] (arrived 26/02/21).

XW419/125 Jet Provost T5A [EEP/JP/1041] kept in a front garden at a private house in Tore on the A832 Tore to Muir of Ord road also belongs to the owner of the museum.
